Terms and conditions

In effect since 29 July 2026.

These terms govern the use of the KipuApp app and of this website. By using either, you accept them. They are written to be understood; if anything is unclear, write to soporte@getkipu.app and we'll clear it up.

Who provides the service

KipuApp is a service of TODO legal name, tax ID and address. The contact for anything to do with these terms is soporte@getkipu.app.

What KipuApp is

An iPhone app where you log your expenses and income and see where the money goes, with categories and budgets. The data you enter is stored on KipuApp's servers so it is available on your devices.

KipuApp is not a financial service. It does not connect to your bank, does not move money, gives no investment or tax advice, and its figures do not replace your bank statements or serve as accounting records. What you see is what you logged.

Your account

The account is created when you sign in with your Apple Account; there is no password KipuApp can see or recover. Keeping access to your device and your Apple Account is your responsibility.

You can close the account whenever you like and ask for everything in it to be deleted by writing to soporte@getkipu.app. The detail is in the privacy policy.

Price and purchase

KipuApp is a one-time purchase of TODO price. There is no subscription and there are no in-app purchases.

The purchase goes through the App Store, so Apple handles it and Apple's terms apply. Refunds too: you request them from Apple, not here. If the price changes in future, the change does not affect anyone who already bought it.

What is expected of you

• Use the app for what it is, and don't try to break it, overload it or reach other people's data.
• Don't use the service for anything unlawful, and don't enter content that infringes anyone's rights.
• Don't resell the service or pass it off as your own.

If a use is detected that puts the service or other people at risk, the account may be suspended. You'll be told by email unless the warning would make the problem worse, and in the event of permanent suspension you can request your data before it is deleted.

Your data is yours

What you log belongs to you. KipuApp processes it to provide the service and does not sell it, pass it to data brokers or use it for advertising. You can ask for a copy in a file you can take with you. Details in the privacy policy.

Ownership

The app's code, design, name and logo belong to KipuApp. Using the service transfers none of those rights to you. Any third-party marks that appear belong to their owners.

Availability

Every effort is made to keep the service running, but uninterrupted availability is not promised. There may be downtime for maintenance, faults or causes beyond our control. When downtime is planned and long, you'll be told.

Keeping a copy of what matters to you is your decision and your responsibility: the service makes backups in order to operate, not as your personal archive.

Liability

KipuApp is provided as is, with the reasonable diligence of whoever maintains it. We are not liable for the financial decisions you make based on what you see in the app, nor for indirect losses, loss of profit or loss of data caused by misuse or by third-party failures.

None of the above limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer, nor excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory guarantee that applies to you.

Changes to these terms

They can change: the date above is updated and, if the change is significant, you'll be told inside the app before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new version, you can stop using the service and ask for your data to be deleted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence; otherwise, the courts of TODO city have jurisdiction.
